Film is not only an art form that mirrors the
human soul, it is also a window through which we see life. Henry
David Thoreau said, "The
question is not what you look at, but what you see." The moving
image helps us to put our world into focus and to understand ourselves.
For many years I have conducted film reviews and discussions,
most recently at the Goggleworks
Theater in Reading, PA. I am interested
in using film as a vehicle for exploring matters of faith and spirituality
as well as probing the psychological and sociological issues of our
culture. Currently I am serving as chairman of the Greater
Reading Film Festival.
